India Lockdown extended to May 3

On Tuesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced that India's lockdown would extend to May 3 to protect the nation from the spread of the notorious coronavirus.
To date, India has reported over 10,300 cases of COVID-19, resulting in some 339 deaths.
Lagos sees spikes in crime amid lockdown
President Muhammadu Buhari declared a lockdown for Nigeria on March 31 and Lagos is reporting a spike in crime for the past two weeks prompting Babajide Sanwo-Olu, State governor of Lagos, to focus attention on security amidst rising health concerns surrounding the notorious coronavirus, reports Nigeria News.
